Our History
Christabel Educational Trust (CET)
CET was founded in 1981 specifically to help improve education and training in India. It aims to help children and young people in or from Chennai and Outskirts of Chennai and TamilNadu, to get a good education, one which is relevant to their needs, suited to their environment, and one which will help them to overcome poverty and live healthily and safely in their community.
CET aims to ensure that those who have missed out in the past are given the opportunity to gain education and vocational skills - girls and young women, people in rural areas, minorities, people with disabilities and the internally displaced.
The Trust works primarily by helping local communities to help themselves. It sees itself as having a special role in helping people from areas which have been affected by conflict. It helps to promote awareness of the needs of people in these areas. It helps these communities and governments to rebuild education and training systems. It helps to train senior officials, Professionals, educators and teachers. It helps the young people and children to get a good education either by supporting them at schools and colleges or by helping to provide high quality non-formal literacy and education courses.​

Chairman's Message
We have talented, dedicated, caring team of staff, each of whom works very hard to ensure that the abilities of the children in our care are nurtured and carefully developed. Our teachers and teaching assistants are experienced, and work as a team to make the school a very special place, every day, for your child.
Besides academic excellence, the School is committed to inculcating in all its students, strong ethical values of integrity, politeness, kindness and respect for elders. I firmly believe that education should foster confidence, discipline, clarity in thought and decision-making ability to set and achieve goals, and above all, social responsibility as a life-long process.
We as educators have the responsibility to educate and train the men and women to compete in an inter-linked and borderless world. We have to equip them with the knowledge, understanding and other tools that drive and fuel global technological change.
